Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating, the state-wide Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition and the NSW Premier's Spelling Bee.
The Bell podcast
Led by students and guided by staff, The Bell has become a beloved creative platform - connecting students with amazing guest like Beau Ryan, Emma Memma, Nicholas Hammond, Gina Chick, Petrea King, Wombat John and Olympian Brad McGee.
Students write, interview, edit, and publish episodes, linking podcasting directly to literacy and digital outcomes. The academic gains have been exceptional, particularly in writing, speaking, and comprehension.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. Past excursions include trips to Sydney Zoo, the Canberra Theatre and Camp Wombaroo.
